These upgrades are designed to streamline installation, improve energy efficiency, and provide greater control flexibility, meeting the needs of our customers.

Our new Extended Casings offer an integrated approach, housing valves within the unit’s body for a cleaner, more streamlined look. Here’s what makes this option particularly advantageous:

• Space Efficiency: By allowing valves to be enclosed within the unit itself, the extended casing maintains a sleek appearance without the need for external pipework.
• Flexible Valve Integration: Valves can be either user-supplied or sourced from SPC, depending on the project’s requirements. If provided by SPC, the valves and corresponding actuators will be delivered loose, ready for on-site installation.
• Automatic Temperature Control: When integrated with our Modulo v3 controller (detailed below), these units can close their water valves automatically as the room temperature reaches the setpoint, making it easier to maintain consistent comfort levels while optimising energy use.

These extended casings match the width of the next standard unit size up, providing additional options for installations requiring a balance of size and function.

Building on the success of the Modulo v2, our Modulo v3 Controller introduces enhanced control capabilities. This wall-mounted thermostat/controller is designed specifically for fan-assisted heaters with EC/brushless DC motors, making it an ideal match for our SPC Belgravia Fan Convectors.

• Advanced Proportional Control: The Modulo v3 works by monitoring the room temperature and automatically adjusting fan speed as the setpoint temperature is approached. This ensures precise control over room temperature, reducing fan speed gradually as the space nears the desired setpoint for maximised energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
• Simple, User-Friendly Interface: Featuring an intuitive design, the Modulo v3 is activated by a simple touch, allowing users to adjust setpoints effortlessly. This simplicity in operation minimises user interaction, making it a straightforward solution for any setting.
• Optional Relay Box for Valve Control: For added control, the Modulo v3 offers an optional relay box that can be fitted inside the unit to control an on/off valve. This feature enables the system to fully close the flow of hot water once the set temperature is reached, conserving energy and further enhancing efficiency.
