Introducing SPC Thermatile Electric Radiant Panels: A Versatile Heating Solution
Upgrade your space with efficient and comfortable radiant heat
We’re excited to introduce our new SPC Thermatile Electric Radiant Panels! These panels offer a powerful and efficient alternative to traditional low-pressure hot water heating systems, perfect for situations where hot water isn’t readily available.
Electric Radiant Panels: How They Work
Electric radiant panels function similarly to their hot water counterparts. They emit radiant heat that warms objects and people directly, creating a more comfortable and efficient heating experience. Unlike traditional convection heaters that heat the air, radiant panels deliver warmth directly, reducing energy waste.
SPC Thermatile Electric Radiant Panels: Designed for Versatility
Our SPC Thermatile Electric Radiant Panels come in two convenient sizes: 600x600mm and 1200x600mm. The smaller panel provides 250W of heating power, while the larger one offers 500W. This allows you to customise your heating solution to meet the specific needs of your space.
Why SPC Thermatile Electric Radiant Panels are a great choice:
- Efficient and economical heating: Radiant heat warms objects and people directly, minimising wasted energy
- Comfortable radiant heat: Experience a more natural and comfortable warmth
- Versatile mounting options: Choose between free-hanging or suspended ceiling for optimal placement
- Sleek and modern design: The panels boast a clean smooth white aesthetic that complements any décor
Are Electric Radiant Panels Right for You?
If you’re seeking a radiant heating solution that prioritises efficiency, comfort, and ease of installation, then SPC Thermatile Electric Radiant Panels are the answer.

Salisbury Museum Gets a Heating Upgrade with SPC Belgravia Chassis Units
The Salisbury Museum recently underwent a significant upgrade to its heating system, ensuring a perfect environment for its priceless exhibits and artefacts. But what exactly went into creating this ideal Fan Convector heating solution?
Heating Solution
SPC is proud to have been a part of this exciting project. We manufactured and supplied Salisbury Museum with our innovative Chassis Fan Convector units – specially designed Fan Convector units without a casing, allowing for a more discreet and space-saving installation. These units, along with our Belgravia Classic Bel J style units, replaced the outdated heating system, bringing the museum up to current standards with modern, energy-efficient technology.
The project was expertly managed by Ben Lagden and installed by Wheelers of Westbury.
A more detailed look at how we transformed the Salisbury Museum’s heating system will be shared soon. But in the meantime, discover how SPC can create the ideal environment for your space too!

Belgravia Fan Convectors: Choosing the Right Coil for Optimal Performance
Choosing the right coil for your Belgravia Fan Convector is crucial for maximising efficiency and comfort in your heating and cooling system. Understanding the different types and their applications will ensure you get the most out of your Fan Convector.
Standard Coils
When supplied with hot water flow and return temperatures associated with conventional boilers then the standard coil is the correct solution. It provides leaving air temperatures which are not so high as to encourage excessive stratification.
Important note: When supplied with hot water with flow and return temperatures associated with conventional boilers, then the standard coil is the correct solution. It provides leaving air temperatures which are not so high as to encourage excessive stratification (layering of warm and cool air).
If the enhanced or low flow coils are used with conventionally high water temperatures then the leaving air will have an excessively high buoyancy and will tend to float towards the ceiling.
Enhanced Coils
If water temperatures are low, as is increasingly the case when heat pumps or condensing boilers are used, an enhanced coil can be specified. Enhanced coils have increased surface area to optimise output at low hot water temperatures for your Belgravia Fan Convector. If both low water temperatures and lowflow rates are used then the lowflow coil is the better solution.
Low Flow Coils
It is increasingly common for Fan Convectors to be installed in systems which take advantage of low water flow rates to enhance efficiency and provide reduced return water temperature. We manufacture our own coil heat exchangers and can offer the Belgravia Supreme and Classic units with a special ‘lowflow’ coil to suit the above scenario. This special heat exchanger prevents the rapid fall off of capacity with flow rate.
