SPC recently supported a heating system upgrade at Waddesdon C of E Secondary School, supplying a range of wall-mounted Fan Convectors to improve comfort across several key areas of the school.
The installation included:
4 High Wall-Mounted Belgravia Classic HS RAF units in the school hall, complete with:
- RT1 remote on/off thermostat
- RT2 remote speed control thermostat
- RS2R summer/winter switch, mounted on a white plastic switch plate for remote access
4 Wall-Mounted Belgravia Classic BS RAF INVCS units in the dining area, featuring:
- Tamperproof remote on/off and speed control thermostats
- Summer/winter switch for seasonal flexibility
1 Floor-Mounted Belgravia Classic A-Style unit installed in the corridor for effective localised heating
These units were chosen for their energy efficiency, ease of installation, and ability to integrate seamlessly with the school’s environment. The use of INVCS (inverted casings) and RAF (reversed air flow) configurations helped to meet specific airflow and layout requirements.
Installer Sam from Martin Environmental shared his feedback on the units:
“Nice and easy to hang, not too complex. The fan deck comes out easily, and overall, it’s a very self-explanatory installation. A great product and very straightforward to work with.”
The success of this project highlights the reliability and practicality of SPC’s Fan Convector range for educational settings. With a focus on energy efficiency, simple controls, and robust performance, our products continue to be a trusted choice for schools and colleges across the UK.
