Belgravia Supreme Fan Convectors
In our opinion, Belgravia Supreme Fan Convectors are the most aesthetically pleasing on the market, featuring an ergonomically rounded design without any sharp corners, making it a great choice for environments that prioritise safety and appearance. This is why they are extensively used in thousands of schools nationwide, with a robust casing designed specifically to withstand the demands of school life.
Available in four different widths and various styles, Belgravia Supreme Fan Convectors are suitable for exposed/cased applications, with Active LST and condensing boiler/heat pump options available.
Belgravia Supreme Fan Convectors can provide up to 16.3kW heat output at standard operating conditions, and standard thermostats and switches are included.
Additionally, they can also be equipped with a fresh air damper to regulate energy-efficient fresh air as per BB93, BB101, and EFA FOS standards.

Vertical
Vertical Fan Convectors are used for low-level floor/wall applications.

Horizontal
Horizontal Fan Convectors are either exposed/cased for ceiling-mounted applications or recessed/concealed for ceiling void applications.

Inverted
Inverted Fan Convectors are used for high-level wall-mounted applications.

Fresh Air Fan Convectors
The Belgravia Supreme Plus incorporates a fresh air inlet spigot and motorised damper allowing the unit to provide both space heating and ventilation.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Supreme unit has fully rounded edges and corners with no sharp points, making it the safest choice for schools, SEN facilities, healthcare environments, and anywhere vulnerable people may come into contact with the unit. The casing is specifically designed to withstand the demands of school life. Both models deliver up to 16.3kW heat output in the same four sizes, but the Supreme is the preferred specification for safety-critical environments. For most commercial and office applications where casing shape is less critical, the Classic offers a wider range of styles and configurations.
Yes, but you must specify the correct coil option. The standard coil is designed for boiler supply temperatures around 80°C. For heat pump systems operating at 45–50°C, you need either the enhanced coil (for standard flow rates) or the lowflow coil (for systems with low flow rates and large temperature differential). Both options are available for the Supreme. The enhanced and lowflow coils maintain meaningful heat output at low water temperatures without oversizing the unit or requiring excessive flow rates. Contact SPC’s technical team if you’re unsure which coil suits your system.
Yes. The Belgravia Supreme is available with SPC’s Active LST control system, which monitors the outlet grille and top panel temperature and modulates an independent control valve to keep the surface temperature at or below 43°C. This meets NHS guidelines and Department for Education guidance for accessible heating surfaces. Active LST is factory-fitted and requires no additional pipework or wiring. It is strongly recommended, or in some cases required, for any installation in a school, hospital, care home, or other setting where vulnerable occupants may be in direct contact with the unit.
The Supreme Plus incorporates a fresh air inlet spigot and motorised damper, allowing the unit to provide both space heating and ventilation in a single device. This is compliant with BB93, BB101, and EFA FOS fresh air standards for schools and educational buildings. Specify the Supreme Plus when you need to meet ventilation requirements without installing separate ventilation grilles or a dedicated fresh air system. The damper is motorised, so the unit can switch between heating-only and heating-with-ventilation modes based on room occupancy or CO2 levels.
The Supreme is available in three mounting configurations: Vertical (low-level floor or wall-mounted, the most common installation), Horizontal (ceiling-mounted, either exposed/cased or recessed/concealed for ceiling voids), and Inverted (high-level wall-mounted, blowing air downward). All configurations are available in four widths. Extended casings are available to house control valves within the unit casing itself. Your choice of mounting depends on the room layout, available wall space, and where the supply pipework enters the space.
Yes. While the standard finish is white casing with white or black grilles (RAL 9010), the Supreme can be powder-coated in any RAL colour to match your interior design. We have supplied units in custom colours for churches, heritage buildings, and design-led projects where the heating needed to blend into a specific colour palette. Contact our sales team with your RAL code for a quotation.
