St Helen’s School is a leading independent day school for over 1150 girls and is a member of the Girls’ Schools Association (GSA). The school’s spacious and beautiful 21-acre site is conveniently located in the heart of Northwood in North London and within easy reach of the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders.
The architect’s main objective for the St Helen’s School project was to provide attractive heating services to enhance student learning. SPC Thermatile TEN-TWELVE free-hanging radiant panels were chosen and installed utilising low water temperatures whilst providing energy-efficient comfortable heating to students and teachers throughout the school.
In addition, SPC’s Thermatile TEN-TWELVE radiant panels are a visual complement to the lighting rafts. Various panel types have been used including free-hanging and T-bar, installed in many locations throughout the school in classrooms, offices and the main theatre hall.
