The Good Shepherd Church in Par, Cornwall, recently upgraded its heating system to enhance efficiency and modernise its system, by installing SPC’s Belgravia Classic Fan Convectors. At SPC, we are dedicated to delivering heating solutions that emphasise efficiency, aesthetics, and complete client satisfaction.
In total, five Belgravia Classic Fan Convectors (A style) were manufactured for the Church to integrate seamlessly with its interior design. The units were finished in RAL 7037 (Dusty Grey), blending perfectly with the surroundings, especially the brickwork, and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the Church.
16 outdated cast iron radiators were replaced with SPC’s stylish Belgravia Fan Convectors. This upgrade marked a significant enhancement, not only in heating efficiency but also in the visual appeal of the Church.
The installation of these Fan Convectors was managed by the local contractor, JM Brewer, ensuring a smooth transition from the outdated heating system to the new one.
Jill Hore, the Church Warden said:
“The old system had to be turned on at 6 am for a 10 am service and still wasn’t warm – that’s a good few hours! With the new Fan Convectors, we can set the timer at 8:45 am for roughly 10 minutes; after 10 minutes, the Church is nice and warm. It’s great, we love it!”
