Honda’s motorcycle dealership in Staffordshire required a new heating solution after the previous system failed to deliver the performance needed for a large, high-end showroom environment.
SPC worked with SGH Mechanical Services Ltd to design and supply a reliable, efficient heating solution capable of providing consistent comfort while meeting the showroom’s requirement for quiet operation and responsive performance.

The dealership needed a heating system that could:

- Ramp heating output up or down in response to varying demand
- Integrate with modern control requirements and low water temperature systems
SPC’s Solution
SPC supplied three BS-style high-wall INVCS-RAF Fan Convectors, selected for their ability to provide effective heating distribution in high-level installations. These units feature an inverted case design with reversed airflow, optimising comfort in open showroom spaces.

- Control: Modulo controller providing proportional 0–10V speed control
- Heat exchanger: Lowflow coil designed for low water flow applications
- Filtration: Air filter positioned across the inlet grille
- Control arrangement: Master/Slave configuration for coordinated operation
- Motor: ECM electronically commutated motor for high efficiency and low carbon performance
- Protection: Low water temperature cut-out thermostat (LTC)
- Installation features:
- CCB connection box for remote-mounted switching
- Pipe knockout (TKO) for flexible pipework entry
- Tamperproof fasteners (TAP) on the access panel
