Recently, our South West Area Sales Manager, Chris Ward, went the extra mile to support a project at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
Having previously supplied electric heater batteries for the site, the project team at the Dartmoor Building required a replacement heat battery at short notice to keep their installation on schedule. With the project nearing completion and time critical, Chris personally delivered the unit directly to Project Manager Phil Parsons, ensuring the installation (carried out by Brothwell Irvine Ltd) could continue without delay.
This project forms part of the new Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Derriford Hospital, a major development delivered by Nevada Construction. The UTC will transform urgent and emergency care in Plymouth, providing a modern, patient-focused facility with treatment rooms, on-site X-ray facilities, and improved patient flow.
