As part of the £10.5m restoration of the Grade I Listed Maison Dieu in Dover, 23 Belgravia Classic Fan Convectors have been installed to provide efficient heating while preserving the building’s historic character. Led by Coniston Ltd, the project focuses on conservation, restoring Victorian features, and improving public access while integrating modern infrastructure.
Originally founded in the early 13th century, the Maison Dieu served as a pilgrimage hospital, a Royal Navy victualling yard, and later a civic building. The restoration ensures the building remains functional for future generations while respecting its rich heritage. The installation of SPC Belgravia Fan Convectors highlights the commitment to energy-efficient, high-performance heating that complements the architectural integrity of this historic site.
