SPC is proud to have supported the recent heating upgrade at Towers School & Sixth Form Centre in the Dover area. The project saw the installation of 45 Fan Convectors across a variety of areas within the school, including the sports hall, gym, drama room, main hall, dining hall, kitchen, and dance studio.
This installation featured a mix of high wall-mounted units (BS INVCS RAF) and floor-mounted models (A style), all designed to provide effective and reliable heating throughout the school. To meet the specific performance and aesthetic requirements of the site, the units were supplied with:
- Plinths for floor installation
- Low flow and enhanced coils for improved efficiency at low water temperatures, ideal for use with heat pump systems
- Tamperproof remote on/off thermostats for secure control
- Special paint finishes to blend with the school’s interior design
A notable example of this was in the drama studio, where the Fan Convectors were finished in RAL 9005 black to blend seamlessly with the room’s dark, theatrical aesthetic, demonstrating our ability to tailor solutions to suit unique design requirements.
