Due to the amount of glass built into the design, Architects TP Bennett required a way of reducing glazing losses while retaining the aesthetics within the building. SPC’s Metropolitan powered Trench Heating offered the perfect solution thanks to their range of Analok grilles that matched the design criteria.
Simon King, Architect for TP Bennett said;
“When buildings are designed with large areas of glass, it is important that we include a means of reducing heat loss whilst maintaining aesthetic value. We chose SPC Metropolitan trench heating because of their quality build and the Analok grille finish perfectly compliment our internal design. We are delighted with the results!”
Jeremy Davies, Sales Director for SPC said;
“We recommend powered units when enhanced heat outputs are required. The low-power fans are whisper-quiet in operation and use EC technology for enhanced controllability and energy efficiency.
Cool air drops into the trench and passes through the coil/heat exchanger, picking up heat and rising over the window. This warmed air helps eliminate draughts, circulating around the room before it cools and falls to the floor to enhance comfort”.
