Tesco Holbeach – Supporting Decarbonisation with Electric CiRRUS Unit Heaters

As part of Tesco’s ongoing decarbonisation drive, the Holbeach store in Lincolnshire required an efficient, low-carbon heating solution to replace their old traditional heating systems. SPC worked with HEB Mechanical & Electrical (part of the HEB Group) to provide an electric heating option that supports Tesco’s wider sustainability goals.

Tesco’s Decarbonisation Commitment

Tesco is committed to reducing store emissions and has already switched to 100% renewable electricity across its own operations. Alongside solar panels, wind turbines and Power Purchase Agreements, the retailer continues to trial renewable heating technologies to move away from gas boilers in its stores and distribution centres.

SPC's Solution

SPC manufactured and supplied two Electric CiRRUS Ci5 Unit Heaters, designed to deliver reliable electric heating while helping Tesco cut carbon emissions.
