It serves as the base for a variety of social impact organisations. The building was planned and constructed using sustainable materials, resulting in an impressively low carbon footprint. This enables its occupants, primarily from voluntary and community organisations, to benefit from reduced operating costs, making it an excellent example of sustainable building design.
The highly insulated building has a low heating requirement and SPC’s Metropolitan Natural Trench Heating was selected. The Trench Heating provides a non-obtrusive heat source which works well with the architectural design, being exposed soffit with natural ventilation built into the wall.
