SPC worked with AVUS Consulting and C A Suthers Ltd to come up with the right specification for radiant heating panels for Crown Hills Community College, Leicester.

SPC Thermatile Radiant Ceiling Panels were chosen for their quality, efficiency, attractive appearance, and versatility for this school project.

Dramatic black Radiant Ceiling Panels were utilised in the drama department. These were created by applying a black overlay to standard panels.

Matthew Smith, contracts manager of C A Suthers Ltd, said his company installed the panels throughout the school: 

We have used SPC’s Radiant Panels before and appreciate the fact that they are straightforward to fit. They are also attractive to look at and work very well.”

The project, part of the Leicester City Schools PFI initiative, was started in 2012 and finished in 2013.
